Well, this coronavirus has really thrown a curveball. Everyone in the office has been a bit more edgy. I struggle to understand why this is such a big deal. Comparing the mortality rates to the flu, this seems so much less important. They are ruining our economy based on hype and hysteria. So far, it hasn’t affected our office. There have been threats about shelter in place. That would be fine with me because I actually prefer working from home. Part of me wishes we could close our business for a week or two so I could treat it like a vacation. But we really must keep working in order to keep everyone employed.
As I look back on my posts, I think there is a chance that I could have had the virus. I was sick for a pretty long period of time and it was a strange illness. I feel perfectly fine now though.
The closures of restaurants hasn’t really affected me since if I get food, it is usually drive through or delivery anyways. I have been eating really poorly. Although, today I am starting off with a smoothie and a few pieces of toast. I am not suffering from an isolation since that is how I prefer to live my life anyways. I didn’t go golfing this weekend – although the weather was perfect. Instead, I have used this time to catch up on some reading and some chores around the house. It has felt nice to slow down and break the cycle up a bit.
